Michael Michaud joined the Big Train front office as General Manager in April 2022. A serious sports fan, Michael has loved baseball his whole life (go Yankees), played in high school and college, and has since turned to coaching. He has coached at the high school, AAU, and youth level, and also still gets his baseball kicks by playing slow-pitch softball. Professionally, Michael previously worked on the Washington Research team at investment bank Keefe, Bruyette & Woods and as a director at Washington consulting firm Hamilton Place Strategies. He holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Vermont and earned an M.A. in government at Johns Hopkins University in December 2022. He is also the founding partner of fantasy sports start-up Encore Fantasy Games.
In his personal life, Michael enjoys just about every sporting activity (working on finding a way to play cricket), traveling to his native Vermont, building LEGOs, and trying to figure out the daily Wordle in as few guesses as possible.
