Big Train Fall, 8-7Thursday, July 24, 2008Box Score On Thursday night, the Big Train lost a heartbreaker, as they blew a big lead and gave up five runs in the eighth inning to the Alexandria Aces to fall, 8-7. Hugh Adams (Florida Atlantic) had his best pitching performance of the summer, going 3 innings and striking out 4 with no walks while giving up just one run, while Steven Leach (Jacksonville State) added a two-run homer, his first hit since his return from Kazakhstan. |
