Big Train Explode 12 runs

On Thursday, the Big Train rolled to their 17th victory of the summer, topping the Herndon Braves 12-2. The win was a total team effort, as the Big Train lineup unloaded for 12 runs while 6 pitchers shut down the Braves' hitters. Seth Hester (Pictured Above, Southern Mississippi) worked 4 innings to pick up his second victory of the week, while Nolan Rudman (Ventura), Ryan Vander Tuig (San Jose State), Kris Brown (Rider), Ryan Donohue (Morepark College), and Ahmed Garcia (Florida Atlantic) each pitched an inning to close out the contest. 

Connor Bernatz (San Francisco) led off the game with a home run and added a double and single. Luke Adkins (Mississippi State) had 2 hits on the night and Eli Boike (Michigan State) stayed hot with 3 hits. Adkins and Boike remain 1-2 atop the CRSCBL in batting average, at .403 and .385 respectively before Thursday's victory.
