BT tops RedbirdsSunday evening at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, the Big Train rolled to an 8-5 victory over the third-place Maryland Redbirds. Cameron Love (Above, San Francsico) got the start for the Big Train and went 7 innings for the victory to improve to 5-1 on the season, while closer Mike Matta (Mount St. Marys) came on to pick up with save. With the game tied at 3-3, Michael Bottoms (Below, Morehead State) came up big with a three-run triple to break the game open en route to victory #24 on the summer. |
