Big Train games at Shirley Povich Field are perfect for nights of family fun in Bethesda! Kids can enjoy the electric atmosphere of professional baseball right in their own backyard. Every seat at Povich Field is close to the action, and there are plenty of opportunities throughout the evening to meet our lovable mascot, Homer the Dog, or even the ballplayers themselves!


Soak Your Parents!
After the 2nd inning at Big Train home games, we allow two lucky young fans to take a few swings on the field – at water balloons pitched by grown-ups! We take two kids and two adults each game, position them in front of the dugouts, and watch what happens when water balloons and baseball bats meet.
