Community Service Day 2006, huge success! Thanks to all those who participated in Community Service Day this past Saturday morning to help put Povich to bed. The bad weather ended just in time for us to take down and clean all the banners at Povich and Field #2. In addition to the outdoor activities, we were able to complete the entire Base Ball and Auction invitation mailing in one sitting. A project that took days to complete last year was no match for our industrious crew this year. A total of 25 people contributed 100 hours of service on Saturday making the 20th annual Community Service Day a great success. Thanks again to Vicki Canales, William Hess, Alec Fanaroff, Judy Ozone, Ben Levy, Isaac Braun, Michael Groeneman, Don, Kenji and Emiko Hinds, Ilene Sparber, John Royse, and Bruce Adams, and all the kids and parents from Boy Scout Troop 15: David Cantwell, Will, Martin, and Gus Holdrich, Chase Smith, Kevin Boland, Andrew Hisle, James MConroy, Sean Crean, Alex, Chris, and Tom Dimisa.
