Big Train to Host Grays

by Staff

The Big Train will be coming back to the station this Friday evening after a comeback win against the Gaithersburg Giants on Thursday. Bethesda gave the Giants their second loss in the early season, now only a half a game behind the league leader.

The Bethesda Big Train will host the D.C. Grays for the second match up of the season, hoping to avenge themselves from their previous defeat. The D.C. Grays have accepted three defeats since Big Train has seen them last. The once undefeated team has fallen into third in the league, a full game behind the Giants and a position below our very own Bethesda Big Train.

Big Train is hoping to come back with a vengeance, utilizing any contact with the bases they can. First pitch is set for 7 p.m., but plan to arrive early to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Washington Capitals winning the Stanley Cup!

The Capitals Street team will be in attendance, bringing an inflatable hockey game, prizes, and much more!

Gates will be opening at 5:30 p.m., make sure to rock the red to honor our champions!

Not able to cheer Bethesda on in person, not to worry! Play-by-play coverage will be broadcast by Alex Drain and Shaun Salehi; you can listen here.
