by Staff

The Bethesda Big Train (15-5) will continue their travels on Friday evening after their 15-5 win against the Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts. The Big Train will face off against the FCA Braves (7-12) in Lorton, Virginia in a double header. Both games will be seven innings, the first of the two games is a reschedule due to inclement weather.

The Big Train and the Braves have only gone head-to-head twice this summer season. Bethesda has outscored the Braves 20-8, claiming both victories. The two games have been errored events. A total of 14 errors have occurred in the previous games, eight of them  committed by the Braves.

First pitch is set for 5 p.m. for the first game. The second game time will be dependent on the length of the first, but plan for it to start around 7 p.m. Can’t travel with the Big Train? Not to worry! Play-by-play coverage will be broadcast by Alex Drain and Shaun Salehi; tune in here.
