Ready the Brooms: Bethesda Looks to Sweep Aces in Semifinals

by Staff

Take the broom out of the closet, the Big Train has an opportunity to sweep the Alexandria Aces on their home turf. Bethesda came back from a 4-0 deficit in their first game, ultimately defeating the Aces 11-4.

Bethesda looks to defeat the Aces in a quick series, pushing ahead to the league championship finals. The two teams have consistently been on polar opposite ends of the rankings all season. Alexandria has brought up the caboose, going 13-24 in the regular season.

Bethesda sat with only a third of those losses and the top seed of the regular season. The Big Train looks to keep the hits coming and keep the momentum rolling.

First pitch is set for 6:30 at Frank Mann Field in Alexandria, VA. Plan to add a bit of a cushion for travel time due to the high trafficked area. Can’t travel along with the Big Train? We have you covered! Play-by-play coverage will be broadcast by Alex Drain and Shaun Salehi; tune in here.
