2nd Auction Starts Tuesday Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. Do Your Holiday Shopping While Supporting Big Train!

Each Fall, Big Train’s Base Ball & Holiday Auction raises money for our community service initiatives. Thanks to generous supporters and sponsors of our November 17 in person event at the KID Museum that featured ESPN’s Tim Kurkjian and Ripken League Hall of Famer Matt Bowman (BT 2010 and 2011) and our successful first auction, we are well on our way to meeting our goal of raising $60,000. Our first Holiday Auction closed November 19 with Big Train fans picking up nearly 90 items — many of which we trust will be holiday gifts — while providing $8,000 for Big Train’s community service initiatives next summer. Thank you, Big Train bidders and auction item donors!

Our Second Auction will go live here at www.bigtrain.org at 5 p.m. on Tuesday December 3 and will close at 9 p.m. on Monday December 9. As with our first auction, this will be packed with baseball memorabilia, signed books, wonderful experiences, and good food. So please mark your calendar now and get in on the bidding. Do your holiday shopping while supporting Big Train baseball!

With thanks to the Washington Spirit and our Board Member Ramin Nejaddehghan, we are proud to announce that our Second Auction will feature a NWSL ball used by the Spirit in practice signed by 20 team members, including ALL FOUR of the Spirit's NWSL Best XI First and Second Team and US Olympic medalists — #2 Trinity Rodman, #3 Casey Krueger, Rookie AND Midfielder of the Year #7 Croix Bethune, and #17 Hal Hershfelt, and NWSL Second Team and playoff hero #9 Tara McKeown. Celebrate the magnificent season of our Washington Spirit, runners up in the 2024 National Women’s Soccer League with this very special ball.
