Join us Opening Night on Tuesday June 2, the first of eight nights where we Celebrate Montgomery at 250 honoring what has made Montgomery County special, including a Super Women Night on June 6, a night to honor Montgomery County's historic Agricultural Preservation program on Saturday July 11, and a Tribute to the Underground Railroad on Sunday July 19. The Annual Clarence “Pint” Israel Juneteenth Classic will be one of the highlights of the Big Train season again this summer with the Big Train players wearing jerseys to honor the Scotland Eagles of Montgomery’s Black Sandlots. There will be fireworks at 9 p.m. after this Friday June 19 game against the Gaithersburg Giants. We will be celebrating National Hot Dog Day Wednesday July 15 with our friends from Catalyst Hot Dogs hosting its annual fundraiser for the Manna Food Center. Big Train fans will be able to work aside the Big Train players at community service projects across Montgomery County the morning of July 18 at our Roberto Clemente Community Service Day and then watch the Big Train play as Gran Tren with all players wearing Clemente’s #21 at our annual Tribute to Latin Baseball Night on Saturday July 18. For families with young kids, our Sunday June 14 game will start at 10 a.m. with Homer’s Birthday Party. Kids can play catch on Povich Field with their dads on Father's Day Sunday June 21. The Oriole's Bird will be coming on June 5.
